During the 2022-23 season, with the 76ers securing their playoff position, McClung had the opportunity to play for 33 minutes in the regular-season finale. In this game, he put up impressive stats, amassing 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists.

G League MVP and Future Plans

In the 2023-24 season, McClung emerged as the G League’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) after he led the league in scoring, averaging 25.7 points per game. He achieved this feat while playing for the Osceola Magic.
