TCU baseball has secured a significant addition to its roster with the commitment of Dominic Kibler, a transfer from UW-Milwaukee. During his standout junior season, Kibler showcased his talent by posting an impressive .300 batting average, along with a .451 on-base percentage and a .537 slugging percentage. He recorded 61 hits, including 13 doubles and 11 home runs, while driving in 60 runs. Additionally, Kibler demonstrated his speed on the base paths, stealing 13 bases and drawing 43 walks, all while starting in every game for the Panthers this spring.
Before his time at UW-Milwaukee, the left-handed-hitting, right-handed-throwing junior had a notable stint at Kent State. In his freshman year in 2024, Kibler made an immediate impact by starting 40 games, contributing seven doubles, four home runs, and 18 RBIs, alongside a .376 on-base percentage. The following year presented some challenges, as he made 19 starts and hit .203, but still managed to connect for six home runs and drive in 28 runs, finishing with an on-base percentage of .402.
Kibler, hailing from New Berlin, Wisconsin, adds to TCU’s growing roster of talented position players. The Horned Frogs have recently bolstered their lineup with other notable transfers, including Midland College teammates Bammer Maes and Caleb Eagar, along with Trace Mazon from Coastal Carolina, James Nunnallee from Mississippi State, and George Gilson from Flagler College. This influx of talent is sure to enhance TCU’s competitiveness in the upcoming season.
