Padres Fall Short in Late Rally Against Braves, 7-6

The Padres weren’t done yet; Luis Rengifo later added a two-run home run off Atlanta closer Raisel Iglesias, narrowing the gap to 7-6. Unfortunately, the rally fell short as Iglesias struck out both Manny Machado and Ty France to seal the victory for the Braves.

With the loss, the Padres now look to rebound in Game 4 against the Braves, aiming to split the series as they take the field this morning at 9:15 a.m.
