The Arizona Diamondbacks recently announced the reinstatement of outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. from the 10-day injured list. The 30-year-old player had been sidelined due to a calf strain and hadn’t participated in a game since the 1st of September, 2024.

Gurriel Jr., a former All-Star, holds an impressive .274 batting average this season, with 17 home runs and 70 runs batted in (RBIs) over 125 games. Over the course of his career, he boasts a .278 batting average, with 109 home runs and 406 RBIs. This record is a testament to his impressive performance from when he started with the Toronto Blue Jays (2018-22) before joining the Diamondbacks.
