A Power-Play Maestro Joins the Flames
Barrie, aged 33, is renowned in the NHL for his power-play expertise. His impressive stat sheet boasts 210 career points earned while the team enjoys a man advantage. Before securing the contract with the Flames, Barrie initially joined the training camp on a professional tryout contract.
In the previous season with the Nashville Predators, Barrie showcased his skills, contributing a goal and 14 assists in 41 regular-season games. This stint represented his second season with the Predators.

His professional hockey career spans 13 seasons and includes stints with top-tier teams like Colorado, Toronto, Edmonton, and Nashville. The Flames are set to wrap up the preseason on Friday night, hosting Winnipeg at home. Their regular season will kick off the following Wednesday night, with an away game in Vancouver. With the addition of Barrie, the Flames are looking to make a significant impact in the upcoming season.
