The Florida Panthers are gearing up for their annual development camp, set to kick off this Monday at the Baptist Health IcePlex in Fort Lauderdale. Following the tradition of previous years, the camp will take place in the days following the NHL Draft, providing a platform for young talent to showcase their skills.
Running from June 29 to July 2, this year’s camp will feature 24 invited prospects, which includes a balanced mix of 11 forwards, eight defensemen, and five goaltenders. Notably, all six players selected by the Panthers during the recent NHL Draft in Buffalo are part of this year’s roster: Simas Ignatavicius, Ryder Cali, Jonas Kemps, Vilho Vanhatalo, Cole Zurawski, and Louis-Antoine Denault.
Fans will have the opportunity to attend all on-ice sessions free of charge, with ample seating at the IcePlex available on a first-come, first-served basis. The schedule is packed with ice time, beginning with a full group session on Monday from 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday will both feature sessions from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., while the camp will wrap up on Thursday with a full group scrimmage from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
