Flyers Eye John Carlson as Key Free Agency Target for Power Play Boost

Carlson, who turned 36 this season, showcased his skills after being traded to Anaheim, tallying 14 points in 16 regular season games and contributing six assists in the playoffs. His performance in the 2025-26 season was particularly impressive, as he netted 60 points, including 14 on the power play, in just 71 games. Notably, those 14 power play points alone would have ranked third among Flyers defensemen, trailing only Cam York and Travis Sanheim, and tied with Rasmus Ristolainen.
