Anthony Duclair, 29, was hurt during the final period of the Islanders’ 4-3 victory against the visiting Montreal Canadiens, which took place on the prior Saturday. Duclair was aggressively advancing towards Montreal’s net when he unceremoniously fell, with minimal interference from Canadiens’ defenseman Jayden Struble. The fall caused Duclair substantial discomfort and he had to be assisted off the ice. Before his untimely injury, Duclair had one successful shot on goal during his 15:07 minutes on the ice.
