Coach Mike McDaniel Expresses Optimism over De’Von Achane

Miami Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel expressed optimism about running back De’Von Achane’s potential return to the field for the upcoming game against the Indianapolis Colts. Achane suffered a concussion during the Dolphins’ victory over the New England Patriots in Week 5 and was subsequently placed on the league’s return-to-participation protocol.

De’Von Achane’s Recovery Progress

Achane went through the initial part of the week donning a red non-contact jersey during Dolphins’ practice sessions. However, by Wednesday and Thursday, he had fully participated in practice sessions without the red jersey.

Achane’s full clearance, however, depends on an evaluation by an independent neurological consultant post-Friday’s practice. Coach McDaniel remains confident about the second-year back receiving this clearance unless there are unexpected complications.
