Cooper Kupp’s Stance on Trade Talks

The Los Angeles Rams’ star wide receiver, Cooper Kupp, acknowledges that he’s been the subject of trade talks as the NFL’s Nov. 5 trade deadline draws near. However, Kupp is resolutely focused on “being the best L.A. Ram” he can be. When questioned about any discussions with the Rams regarding a potential trade, Kupp disclosed, “Nothing substantive, really. It’s that time of year when rumors are rife. I aim to keep such discussions as peripheral as possible.”

Kupp’s Devotion to the Los Angeles Rams

Kupp, aware of the swirling rumors, maintains a clear perspective. “I am where I am, and I’m committed to performing my role to the best of my ability. I take immense pride in giving my all for this team and stepping onto the field knowing I’ve prepared the best I can,” Kupp stated. “For more than seven years, I’ve been a Ram, and that’s been my approach every single day. Whatever happens beyond that is out of my hands. My current focus is on being the best L.A. Ram that I can be.”

Kupp’s Recent Performance and Expected Return

Kupp has been off the field since Week 2 following an ankle sprain during a game against the Arizona Cardinals. In the two games preceding his injury, Kupp made 18 catches for 147 yards and a touchdown. Kupp was projected to fully participate in Tuesday’s practice session, ahead of an expected return for Thursday night’s game against the Minnesota Vikings at home.

Cooper Kupp’s Approach to His Return

Kupp, who avoided being put on injured reserve, resumed training last week and was marked as questionable for Week 7’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite not being active for the game, Kupp emphasized his belief and readiness for a possible return. “There’s always a belief, always a belief that there’s going to be a chance,” Kupp reflected on Tuesday.

When asked about his expected workload upon returning against the Vikings, Kupp deferred to the coaches and the training staff’s discretion. “I hate being sidelined. I’d love to play as much as I possibly could, and that’s my mentality,” Kupp conveyed. “We’ve had team members play exceptionally well in recent weeks, and finding the optimal combination to secure a victory for the Rams is our ultimate goal.”

Kupp’s Confidence in His Return

Kupp, who missed four games last season due to a hamstring injury, expressed confidence about his comeback. “Having a full off-season this year and putting in the work to set myself up for this year, I feel incredibly confident about returning now with that foundation, ready to play exceptional football,” he affirmed.
